About Chrystine

Once Upon a Time.....

It’s 11pm, and she knows she should go to bed.  But she has SO MANY things to get done! What if she’s not prepared tomorrow? She’s ALWAYS prepared, and she knows better than to do “less than perfect quality work.” Her heart is racing, and she can’t focus. Stupid anxiety!  She’s starting to panic and doesn't know what to do. It’s too late to reach out to any friends.  She scrolls her phone in search for some unknown “help,” and when it isn’t there, she goes to the kitchen and opens the fridge for something to snack on. Then she realizes how much time she’s wasting and how she just ate more food than necessary without even remembering what she ate! And she gets so mad at herself for being horrible and for not being more in control and having more self discipline! Feeling defeated and hopeless, she eventually drifts off and catches a few hours of sleep.

Sounds a bit exhausting, right? That girl was me. In Jr. High. In High School. In College. Throughout most of my 28 years in elementary teaching. It’s amazing I didn’t break in two.

But I didn’t break. I kept getting up again, day after day, and I kept taking self help courses and reading books and attending groups, and working in  individual coaching and therapy.  My persistence in seeking growth led me to learning mindfulness strategies to regulate my emotions, identifying and understanding my limiting beliefs, and eventually teaching SEL (Social Emotional Learning).

I started to discover and experience peace. And SO CAN YOU!  If you’re struggling with stress, overwhelm, and focus, you are not alone. Through my one-on-one coaching, courses & programs, and support groups, I can help you discover your own sense of peace, self compassion and worth, confidence, empowerment, and authenticity through questioning core beliefs and living mindfully. Please reach out to me if you would like to start thriving in your life, and not just surviving, in a safe and non-judgmental space.
